Welcome to Sunsail's Sailing Schools

Sunsail is one of the world's oldest sailing schools with more than 25 years' experience in teaching people how to sail and improving their yachting skills.

Our Sailing Schools originated in the UK and have since spread their winning formula throughout the Americas and the Asia Pacific regions.

Learning to sail opens up the doors to many amazing new life experiences.  Not only will you gain a new skill, but you can go on to enjoy an unlimited range of holiday and social sailing experiences all over the world.

For those who already have sailing experience, our courses progress up to RYA Coastal Skipper standard, to help you further develop your ability and confidence, as well as providing important certifications.

Asia Pacific Schools

We now have two sailing schools in the Asia Pacific region:

• Hamilton Island in the Whitsundays, off the coast of Queensland;
• Phuket, Thailand's most popular islands

From both regions Sunsail offers a wide range of internaationally-accredited RYA courses, as well as our own extensive line of commercial and leisure sailing courses.

RYA Courses

If you are after internationally-recognised yachting qualifications, consider one of our RYA courses. 

Leisure Courses

If you are not necessarily interested in gaining formal qualifications, but would like to learn for fun, to improve skills or to be able to charter your own yacht at any of Sunsail's 27 international destinations, check out one of our Leisure Courses.
