Provisioning Information

It is usual for charterers to eat on board for the first 2-3 nights, since the first 3 days of most of the cruises take in PhangNga Bay, which is a National Park area, and consequently has little in the way of restaurants and shops. Furthermore, there are fewer restaurants open throughout the cruising area during the wet season (April to October).

Sunsail Thailand offers clients a food and beverage provisioning service, which is designed to save clients the stress and time of shopping for groceries when they arrive. Orders are made through www.sunsail.com, using our on-line provisioning service. Orders must be made no later than 1 month before
departure.

Payment is made at the base on arrival by cash, Travellers Cheques or Credit Card (credit cards are deducted in Baht).

Phuket now offers good western Supermarket shopping with “Tesco” and the Big C only 15 minutes taxi ride from the base. All fresh and dry goods can now be purchased in one easy stop.
Whilst cruising, provisioning can be obtained at Koh Phi Phi Don (dry goods, beverages and groceries) and at Krabi Town (dry goods, fresh food at the early morning market, beverages and groceries)

In summary, we offer clients the following advice for their provisioning:
2-3 days provisioning (7 to 10 day charter)
4-5 days provisioning (14 day charter)
April to October - Eat on board 60% of the time.
